Casting weights range from a few grams up to about 20 kg.

Precision castings - the tabled tolerances are valid for basic dimensions. If closer tolerances are needed, their values have to be clearly marked in the drawing and negotiated with the foundry.

The range of casting material. – after agreement with the foundry there is a possibility to manufacture other required alloys.

The quality of the casting’s surface finish is significantly dependent upon the technique of cleaning and finishing of the casting. The level is usually between Ra 3.2 and Ra 12.5. Requirements for a finer surface finish should be discussed with the foundry.
